Our multi-million dollar theater is conveniently located in the heart of Pigeon Forge and is the perfect place to watch one of our award winning performances, complete with spectacular lighting and special effects. 1. Originally Opened in 1997
When you walk into our sparkling theater with comfortable seating, huge video screens, and impressive light displays, you’ll probably think we just opened its doors within the last year or two! However, our Pigeon Forge theater originally opened in 1997 to establish quality family entertainment in the Smoky Mountains. The show itself originated in 1992 at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, and then later opened in Branson, MO in 1994. The year 2000 was a milestone for the Pigeon Forge location because we became independent from the other Country Tonite theaters.
2. Many Celebrities Have Graced the Stage
Another fascinating thing to know about our Pigeon Forge theater is that many celebrities have graced our stage over the years! Some of the artists who have previously appeared in concert at our theater include the Oak Ridge Boys, Restless Heart, Loretta Lynn, and Tanya Tucker. We host several exciting celebrity shows each year, so be sure to see who is playing when you are in town!
3. Groups Can Easily Be Accommodated
If you are planning a church retreat, family reunion, or other group travel event to the Smoky Mountains, you will be excited to know that our Pigeon Forge theater can easily accommodate groups! After all, our theater is not a cramped and outdated theater but is a modern facility containing 1,500 seats with excellent stage visibility! You will also be delighted to know that we offer group tickets to Country Tonite and can handle groups of all sizes! 4. We Offer Backstage Tours for Students
There is a special opportunity for student groups to take a backstage tour of our theater so students can learn what goes on behind the scenes of our full scale production. This is a unique chance to see all of our technical equipment and how all elements of production contribute to the overall performance. Your group may even be able to take center stage of our Pigeon Forge theater and become the opening act to one of our shows! Some of the other student activities include a question and answer session with the stars of our theater, as well as workshops that explore all aspects of theater operations!
