20+ Years in Pigeon Forge

History of the Country Tonite Show

The Country Tonite show originated in 1992 at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas; then, the show opened in Branson, MO in 1994. A few years later, in 1997, Country Tonite established the benchmark for what the Smoky Mountain area is today: quality entertainment for the entire family.

The year 2000 was a milestone for the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge when it became independent from the other Country Tonite Theatres. This has allowed our Pigeon Forge show the flexibility to rise above and surpass customer expectations, as well as become an award-winning production!

Now in our 29th year of providing world-class entertainment in the Smokies, you’ll find your favorite country classics made famous by country music’s most legendary artists, along with the more modern country hits of today. You'll enjoy dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel music, and a patriotic tribute to America and our veterans.

Each year, our live music show is produced with new staging, dramatic lighting, and elaborate costumes in our 1,500-seat theater. This high-energy, full-scale production receives more awards than any other show in the Smokies, making it a family-friendly activity to experience year after year!
