The Country Tonite Theater is very excited to announce the official schedule for this year’s celebrity shows in Pigeon Forge! With returning fan favorites and some new faces, 2015 is shaping up to be our best year yet.
May 23 – The Oak Ridge Boys
The Oak Ridge Boys always receive a warm reception when they visit our theater in Pigeon Forge. This year, the world’s most famous country quartet will perform two shows at Country Tonite. You can expect to hear their biggest hits, including the unforgettable “Elvira” and “American Made”. Fans will be twisting in their seats as the ageless Chubby Checker celebrates the 55th anniversary of his hit single. It was his version of “The Twist” that really took the country by storm and set off a dance craze that is still alive and well. Checker is a living legend and he can still really move!
July 3 – Shenandoah featuring Marty Raybon
Although it has seen several personnel changes since 1984, the band Shenandoah continues entertaining audiences with bluegrass, country and gospel music. Rejoining the group in 2014, original lead singer Marty Raybon brings heartfelt emotion to each song.
July 24 – Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan
Country music stars Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan will join forces to entertain the audience with their flamboyant and distinctive musical styles as part of their successful Grits and Glamour Tour.
September 25 – Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee
Country icons Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee will be delighting fans with their signature songs. Gilley has had an astounding 39 Top-Ten country hits. Johnny Lee’s classic tune “Lookin for Love” reached the top ten of both the country and pop music charts.
October 16 and 17 – Don Williams
A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Don Williams is a Gentle Giant with one of the most distinctive baritones in the industry. His hits include “You’re My Best Friend”, “Tusla Time,” and “I Believe in You.”
Known as “The Singer’s Singer”, Gene Watson is a revered country vocalist with a long list of hit songs under his belt. Watson will be joined by “Miss Country Soul” herself, Jeannie Seely.
December 5 – Ronnie Milsap
At 71 years old, country soul singer Ronnie Milsap is embarking on his Farewell Tour. Fans don’t want to miss this opportunity to hear their favorite songs like “Smoky Mountain Rain” and “It Was Almost Like a Song” performed live one last time.
